Symptoms of ORBITAL GRANULOMA
Symptoms associated with orbital granuloma include the relatively rapid onset of orbital pain, There is usualy swelling or edema of the lids. The eyes may appear to be protruded, a condition referred to as proptosis. Due to the swelling and damage around the eye, the muscles may not function normally and there may be difficulties moving the eyes. This can lead to diplopia, or double vision, caused by the eyes looking at slightly different directions. The surface of the eye may appear swollen, a condition referred to as chemosis.
