Symptoms of THROAT CANCER

These cancers are most commonly seen after 50 years of age. Ulcers of the mouth are found that do not heal. Tumors of the tongue may lead to difficulty swallowing and difficulty speaking. Persistent hoarseness may be a sign of cancer of the larynx, the vocal cords. It is not uncommon to have swollen lymph nodes in the neck. In cases of cancer, these are often firm and painless.
