Symptoms of BALANOPOSTHITIS


Swelling and redness of the foreskin and head of the penis occurs. There may be purulent discharge. Severe swelling may produce problems in those with an intact foreskin where it is difficult for the penis to extend through the foreskin. Severe infection with some spirochetes can lead to ulceration and necrosis of the penis and foreskin. Ulceration and white curd like deposits may occur with fungal infections.
