Symptoms of MUCORMYCOSIS


Mucormycosis of the nasal cavity and sinuses usually is associated with fever. There is pain in the area affected. As the disease spreads, it can produce double vision, red eye, bulging eye and decreased vision or blindness. If the infection spreads into the brain, drowsiness and coma may occur. Involvement of the lungs produces fever, chest pain and cough.
