Symptoms of SINUS CANCER

Symptoms from sinus cancer depend on which sinus is involved. Obstruction of the sinus, with the accumulation of fluid, can produce pain behind the nose or in the upper teeth. Swelling around the eyes may also occur. Numbness of the cheek, upper lip, upper teeth or side of the nose occurs. Persistent nosebleeds, headaches, or double visiond can occur from sinus cancer. Obstruction of the airways frequently produces an alteration of speech. These symptoms may occur due to conditions other than cancer, and most people with these symptoms will not have paranasal sinus cancer. However, like most cancers, paranasal sinus cancer is most likely to be cured when diagnosed at an early stage.
