Symptoms of CONVULSION, FEBRILE
Like the name says, febrile convulsions are usually preceded by infection and fever. The convulsion may be the first sign of fever. Other symptoms that develop include temporary unconsciousness, jerking or twitching of the arms, legs or face that lasts 2 to 3 minutes, loss of bladder or bowel control, and irritability upon regaining consciousness. Following the convulsion, sleep may last for several hours.
