Symptoms of DERMATITIS HERPETIFORMIS

Dermatitis herpetiforms produces small clusters of blisters. There are usually anywhere from 5-20 blisters in a cluster. They range in size from 2-6 mm. in diameter. The clusters can occur on one or both sides of the body at the same time. Although the blisters are not painful, unless they develop secondary infections, they do itch. However, they can have a burning or stinging sensation.
