There are diffuse cramps in the muscles. People complain of intense thirst. Heatstroke is often preceded by heat exhaustion. Heatstroke produces skin is hot, dry and flushed. There is no sweating and the body temperature is very high. There is a rapid heart beat, confusion, and possibly the loss of consciousness.
