Symptoms of HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA
The nodules that develop from Hidradenitis suppurativa are usually firm and tender. They are generally from 1 to 3 cm in diameter. Larger nodules soften in the center and become painful, they feel like an overfilled inner tube. Intermittently, the nodules will break open and drain pus. The open nodules gradually heal, over two to four weeks. The severity of the disorder varies. There can be just a few lesions per year, or a constant succession of new lesions that form as old ones heal. Lesions often recur at the same place.
