Symptoms of LARGE INTESTINE POLYP


Frequently, polyps of the colon will not produce any symptoms at all. Occasionally, bleeding from the rectum may or mucus discharge from the rectum will develop. There may be abdominal pain and cramps. Recurrent diarrhea may occur. Occasionally, a large polyp will protrude from the anus. If there is significant bleeding from the poly, signs of anemia may develop. These include fatigue, shortness of breath, exercise intolerance, rapid heart rate and pallor.
