Symptoms of LEGG-CALVÉ-PERTHES DISEASE

Symptoms associated with this disorder reflect the changes occurring at the hip joint. They include pain and stiffness in the hip and thigh. Either one, or both sides may be involved. The pain is typically felt in the upper leg, but sometimes there is pain that radiates into the knee. The symptoms develop gradually, and progressive limping and discrepancies in leg length may occur.
