Symptoms of VITILIGO


Vitiligo produces macules. These are small areas of different skin color. Vitiligo may also produce patches which are flat, white and can’t be felt with fingers. These patches frequently expand to form very large, irregularly-shaped areas without pigmentation. They usually on both sides of the body in approximately the same place. the patches range in size from several millimeters to several centimeters in diameter. Typically, the patches of depigmented skin are painless and do not itch. This disorder is also associated with premature graying of the hair.
