Symptoms of DERMOID
Symptoms depend of the location of the tumor. When they occur in the scalp or skull, a painless lump develops. In the brain, they cause headaches and possibly weakness, numbness, poor balance, difficulty swallowing, and hearing loss. Dermoids of the ovary cause an enlarging mass that may be felt in the lower abdomen. Abdominal pain may occur. Dermoids occurring in the mouth, or oral cavity, can produce a lump in the mouth.
