Symptoms of SKIN CANCER


Basal cell cancer is the most common and tends to remain localized. It forms a painless lump that enlarges slowly. An ulcer may occur in the center of the lump. Squamous cell cancer is more common after 60 years of age. A hard lump occurs with irregular edges which are red or brown. an ulcer may develop within the lesion that does not heal. Malignant melanoma may develop quickly. They are often dark spots. They may have irregular edges. Itching is common. Bleeding and changes in color occurs. Kaposi's sarcoma are raised brown, pink lesions that are usually associated with AIDS.
