Symptoms of DISSECTION CELLULITIS OF THE SCALP
Severe dandruff may be found in association with this disorder. As the nodules or abscess enlarge, they frequently rupture through the scalp, draining pus. They may spread underneath the scalp, forming a web of interconnected abscess cavities. The symptoms tend to wane and wax. In areas that have develop thickened scars, there may be permanent hair loss.
