Symptoms of DACRYOSTENOSIS

The eye appears red, and there is frequent tearing when people suffer from Dacryocystitis. The lacrimal sack, which sits in the inner lid, is tender and pressure on it may produce pus from the eyelid. If people develop dacryostenosis, tears cannot be absorbed down the lacrimal tract and may drip from the eye. All signs of acute infection may have long resolved themselves.
